Mother Ida Mae  Couser-McDowell
Ida Mae Couser McDowell was born May 22,1932 to the late George Couser and Ethel Garland Couser, in Sumter County, SC she departed this earthly life on Wednesday August 19,2015. At her residence

Ida Mae attended the public schools of Sumter County,SC she was employed with Florence General Hospital until she retired in 1982.

Ida was a lifelong member of Salem United Methodist Church, Florence, South Carolina.

Ida was united in holy matrimony to the late Isaac McDowell, Sr and to this union three children were born. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Isaac, daughter, Betty Jean Jones, two brothers, John and Frank Couser, three sisters; Rhunette Montgomery, Catherine Harrison and Othellia Couser

She leaves to cherish her loving memories to one daughter, Rhunette (Andrew) Bynum of Darlington, SC one son Isaac McDowell Jr. of Baltimore, Md , stepmother Rosetta Couser of Sumter, SC , one sister Dorothy Reid, and brother Esau (Mary) Couser both of Richmond, VA one sister in law Gladys Couser of Lynchburg, SC ,seven grandchildren , eight great grandchildren , three great great grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
