Wesley Bee Jones

Mr. Wesley Bee Jones passed on December 4, 2011 peacefully at his home after a long illness.

He was one of eleven children born to the late Wallace and Sally Jones. Wesley was born and raised in Darlington, SC where he attended Darlington County Schools. He was married to the late Nancy Jones and of that union, they had eight children. He was employed with HB & Robinson Contractor for 25 years until his retirement.

Wesley was a member of New Covenant Assembly Church in Darlington, SC where his brother Elijah Jones was the pastor. After moving to Florence, SC in 2007 he attend Pentecostal United Church of Christ ( Apostle Fred Graham).

He was preceded in death by one daughter Ms. Deborah Mercer and Seven sisters and brothers Jesse Jones, Evans Jones, Fred Jones, Lillian Jones, Elijah Jones, Cleveland Jones, and Aralee Jones.

Wesley will forever be remembered by: his devoted children, James " Dickey" Jones, Patricia ( Ervin ) Smith, Harold Jones, Kenny ( Pearnel) Jones, Mary Leah Jones, Ricky( Chiquita ) Jones, and Wesley Jones, Jr; two loving sisters Essie Parrot and Mary Alice Swinton one brother, Wallace Jones he is survived by his half sister and brother; Maebell Jones and Bubba Jones, 16 grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.
