Mr. Roosevelt “Bug” Hudson Jr., 58, departed this life earthly on Thursday July 4, 2013 at the St. Joseph’s Hospital. In Syracuse, NY

Mr. Hudson was born on October 13, 1954 in Darlington County, SC the son of the late Roosevelt Hudson, Sr & Virginia H. Merrick

Mr. Hudson attended the public schools of Darlington County, SC and was a resident of Syracuse, NY for 34 years. He was formally employed with Bristol Myers Squibb Company for 15 years and Upstate Medical Center. He was a member of Central Baptist Church in Syracuse, NY

He enjoyed softball, baseball and also coached and mentored our youth with Syracuse Inner City League at Kirk Park. He loved spending time with family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father Roosevelt Hudson Sr. and mother Virginia H. Merrick, Brother Morris Hudson & Perry Wilds and Sister Rosetta Willoughby. To Absent from the body present with the Lord.....II Corinthians 5.8

He leaves to cherish his memories are his brothers and sisters: Margie Sumter and Fredrick Hudson both of Florence, SC, Vivian Hudson, Audrey Hudson, Sharon Hudson , Isaiah (Teresa) Hudson and Charles Hudson and his stepfather Mr.Herbert Merrick and a stepbrother Tony Merrick all of Syracuse, NY; a host of uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends including Maria, Rick Long and Gibbs.
