Ellis “ Cooterfoot” Hyman was born on April 2, 1975 in Florence County, SC to the Manzie Timmons and Vera Hyman Timmons. He entered into eternal rest on Thursday May 28, 2020.

Ellis “ Cooterfoot “ was educated in the public schools of Florence County, SC. At an early age he joined the St. Luke A. M. E. Church, Johnsonville, SC. He was employed with Cooper Landscaping.

Ellis “ Cooterfoot “ leaves to cherish his ever lasting memories: one daughter Ja’ Tiera O. Hyman of Georgia, a brother Lawrence Kennedy of Middletown, CT, two sisters; SuCola ( Leo ) Eaddy of Pamplico, SC and Latonya ( Corey ) Timmons of Johnsonville, SC four nieces, Stephanie ( JonPaul ) Brinkley of Pamplico, SC, Vera Kennedy of Meriden, CT, Taniya Timmons and Sky Riannah Alston both of Johnsonville, SC;

two nephews; Rodric Grant and Artkeam Moore of Pamplico, SC; three aunts Annie Feah ( Charlie Boy ) McWhite, Arphine Eaddy Ruth Jean Timmons all of Pamplico, SC Hattie Phillips of New York; five great nieces and three great nephews A special childhood friend Reid Singletary.
