Mr.David Cockfield

OBITUARY

David Cockfield was born in Pamplico, SC to the late Ruby Lee Deese Cockfield and Lacy Cockfield.

The Lord called him home Friday morning, January 18, 2019.

He graduated from Hannah-Pamplico High School class of 1976, where he played on the Varsity basketball team. He served in the United States Army for four years and was discharged with honors.

David worked with Performance Food Group as a scheduler and part time with the South Carolina Basketball Officials Association, District 6 as a referee and part time with Allied Barton Security Services as a security guard.

He leaves to cherish his memories, a beautiful daughter, Starena Cusack, one grandson, Gabriel Elijah Pelzer, a special friend, Carolyn Evans (all of Florence, SC), two sisters, Ozella C. Graham (Florence, SC) and Burnette Cockfield (Atlanta, GA); two brothers, Freddie L. (Venice) Cockfield and Philip Cockfield (both of Pamplico, SC). A host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
