Ms. Georgia Mae Douglas, affectionately known as, “Missie” entered into eternal rest on Saturday, January 18, 2014 at her home. “Missie” was the daughter of Sarah B. Douglas and the late Otis Douglas, Sr.

“Missie” was born in Florence, South Carolina. She attended the public schools of Florence county, was a 1984 graduate of Wilson High School and attended Limestone College, Florence, South Carolina.

At an early age, she attended and was a member of Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church, Florence, SC

“Missie” leaves to cherish her memory, her mother, Sarah B. Douglas; of Florence, SC three children; Courtney(Tyrone)Bruce, of Atlanta, GA Jamel D. Timmons, and SayQuan A. Humbert; both of the home. her granddaughter, Aun’Jewel”Zuppie” Young; of Florence,SC two sisters, Deloris(Lucious)Perry, Cassandra R. Douglas; four brothers, Calvin(Jean)Addison, Otis(Shirlene)Douglas, Jr., Kenneth Douglas, Edward(Kia)Douglas, all of Florence, SC, and her grandmother, Josephine Douglas Seals; of Florence,SC also, a host of uncles, aunts, special nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.
