Obituary for Mr.Franklin Roosevelt Becoat

Franklin Roosevelt Becoat, 68 resident in Philadelphia Pennsylvania. Enter into eternal rest on Friday, December 4, 2017. He was born in Florence County on November 3, 1949. Franklin, is preceded in death by his parents Rev.Leroy Becoat and Mrs. Marie “Sally” Becoat. He was the baby son of 10 children.

Franklin, attended Gibbs high school and was a member of the Trinity AME Church. After, graduating from high school he was drafted into the Marines. After, serving in the Marines. Franklin, uprooted and moved to Philadelphia Pennsylvania. He became a member of the Saint James Church of God in Christ under the leadership of the Pastor Elder James S. Becoat.
Franklin, serve on various ministries. He served his community as the neighborhood carpenter and masonry. He truly lived life to the fullest through simple pleasures; snacking, cooking most enjoyed spending time with family and friends.

In addition to his parents, Franklin was preceded in death by two Brothers Herman Becoat, Ellie Bobby Becoat and Sister Rev. Rosezella B. Stallings.

He leaves to cherish his loving memories: three daughters: Shelley Becoat, Sabrina Becoat, and Michelle Becoat-English, of Brooklyn, New York, one son Edward (Eddie) Becoat of Philadelphia Pa., Two Grand Children of Philadelphia Pa. Devoted companion Millie Brockington of Philadelphia Pa.; Special friend Roseann Butts-English of Brooklyn New York. Two sister Evangelist Annise B. Wingfield and Rev. Susan B. Davis both of Pamlico S.C. Two Brothers Rev. James S. Becoat of Philadelphia. Pa., Reverend Dr. A C Robinson of Pamplico, SC one brother in law Lonnie Davis of Pamplico, SC and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends he loved as family.
