Obituary

Donald Ray Woodberry was born on July 31, 1952 in Clarendon, North Carolina to the late Assie and Sadie Mae(Gause) Woodberry. He transitioned from his earthly home on Saturday, January 16, 2015. Donald Ray was married to Lois Daniels on September 5, 1972 and out of that union four children were born.

Donald Ray attended Marion County Public School during his early years and later transferred to Florence County Public School. He was employed at Charlie Womack Nursery and Commander Nursing Home until his health failed.

Donald Ray was a quiet person and had plenty of love for everyone he encountered. His physical appearance is gone but his fond memories will never be forgotten by family and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents Assie and Sadie Mae Woodberry; mother and father-in-law Louise and Lory Daniels; a brother Rodney Woodberry; and son Fredrick Daniels.



Survivors left to cherish his memories a wife Lois Woodberry; one son Donald Woodberry of Florence, SC; four daughters Mary Richardson and Felicia Woodberry of Johnsonville, SC, Sandra and Tarisha Edward of Pamplico, SC; five brothers Ronnie (Diana) Woodberry and Mitchell (Jessica) Woodberry of Florence, SC, DeWitt (Vickie) Woodberry of Middletown,Conn., Travis(Annie) Woodberry of Conway, SC and Howard Davis of New York; two sisters Diana (Willie James) Conyers ofPamplico, SC and Laura Mae (Raymond) Middletown, Conn.; four brother-in-laws Larry (Jean) Daniels of Plainfield, NJ; Harry Daniels of Philadelphia; Albert and Roy Daniels of Johnsonville, SC; three sister-in-laws Sadie Mae Daniels of Philadelphia; Oda (Willie Lee) Washington, Darlene ( Roger)McWhite, and Sarah Daniels of Plainfield NJ; eight grandchildren and a host of uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
