Obituary for Charles Timmons

Charles Timmons was born in Florence County a son of the late C. W. and Clydia Timmons. He departed this life Saturday, June 26, 2010 in McLeod Medical Center after an illness. He attended public schools in Florence County. He also attended Florence Technical College and Plainfield Technical College in New Jersey. He retired from Esab after 36 years of service. He also retired from the U.S. National Guard after 26 years of service. He became a member of Aimwell Baptist Church at an early age. He was Scout Master for Aimwell Boy Scout Troop #413. He served on the Trustee Board and was Past Treasurer of the Pee Dee Ushers Union and was a member of Aimwell Masonic Lodge #465. Charles leaves to cherish memories of his life: his wife, Pearlease Cameron Timmons; two daughters, Etrell Denease Jones of Scranton, SC and Michelle Daniels of Lake City, SC; three sons, Charles Ronald (Lynette) Timmons of Millington, TN, Jason Perry (Beverly) Timmons of Columbia, SC and Kevin Andrew Timmons of Florence, SC; six grandchildren, Latoya Agee, Olivia Timmons, Charles Ronald Timmons, Jr., Kevin Andrew Timmons, II, Brandon Lambert and Kevin Lambert; two brothers, Junior Dick Timmons of Pamplico and Henry Joe (Myrtle Bell) of Scranton; one sister, Lola Mae Jackson; two sisters-in-law, Ora Lee Cooper of Scranton and Cathy Cameron of Philadelphia, PA; two brothers-in-law, Nathaniel Cameron and Albert Cameron of Scranton. A host of nieces and nephews relative and friends.
